About Bayshore Boulevard

There may be no more iconic address in Tampa than Bayshore Boulevard. Stretching roughly 4.5 miles along the western edge of Hillsborough Bay, Bayshore is home to what’s widely recognized as the longest continuous sidewalk in the country — a 10-foot-wide waterfront promenade that has been the social and recreational heart of Tampa for generations.

Life on Bayshore moves to the rhythm of that sidewalk. Mornings bring runners, cyclists, and dog walkers; afternoons fill with families and strollers; and at sunset the whole boulevard glows as neighbors gather to watch the light come off the bay. Dolphins and manatees are spotted in the water often enough that locals stop noticing. The address also puts residents minutes from Hyde Park Village, downtown Tampa, Amalie Arena, and the Westshore business district.

Housing along and just off Bayshore spans a wide range — from historic waterfront homes and new-construction estates to luxury condominium towers. Prices reflect the prestige of the location, but the trade is a daily front-row seat to one of the most beautiful waterfront settings in any American city.

Good To Know

Some homes and buildings offer direct waterfront access while others rely on the public greenway. Inventory ranges from condos to multimillion-dollar estates, so it helps to define what kind of Bayshore lifestyle you’re after before you start looking.

Who Tends To Love It

Anyone who wants a scenic, active daily routine, waterfront views, and a central location without sacrificing a neighborhood feel.
